Switch Styles

The look and feel of a website is powered by Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), these contain the information needed for the layout. By implementing a different set of CSS you can radically alter the appearance of a website.

We have create a simple tool to showcase our design skills and to show how easy it is to amend a design to keep your site up to date and looking fresh.

The Designs

Original

Based on our original website we kept the theme going but had to tailor it to fit in with the new content. We decided not to keep this as our default design as we thought it was time for a change but it is sentimental to us so we had to include it

.
Grass
Grass Design

To keep us on our toes we had a little competition in the office to design a logo, this was every bodies favourate so we decided to add another style for our website.

We complemented the unordered nature of the grass by making everything else plain and simple. The grey boxes with curved edges and the green font ensure that the content of the site is distracted from the boldness of the design.

Plain
Plain Design

This is an example of a very plain website, this has minimal loading time as there is only one image is used and is very easy to read as it is made up of the standard web colours.

Many websites we build will look like this in the proto type stages to show you the usability and content without the getting involved with the intricacies of the design. Once we are happy with the functionality we simply apply the design and quite quickly it looks the business.

Text Only

Without any CSS applied to the HTML a website looks very simple, it is not the most the most attractive but it is the most accessible of all the designs, meaning that users with disabilities or accessing using a mobile phone can get access to all the content.
