Webfangled is a relatively young company only two of our staff can remember the time before the internet, the mind boggles at how people coped before, emails are such a necessity in communication.

We offer two types of email solutions, the first is a simple pop3 email account that you can access through the web or an email client on your desktop and IMAP which synchronises your emails across multiple devices.

Simple Mailbox

Post Office Protocol (POP3)

POP3 is the simplest way to deal with your emails. Emails are sent to a mailbox located on our server, your local computer logins into the server using an email a client and picks up the messages.

Synchronised Emails

Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP)

These days it is common for people to send and receive emails from a wide range of different devices. Here at Webfangled our staff access their emails from their desktop in the office, their mobile phones when out ands about, using webmail when necessary, and then maybe a laptop (and a desktop at home too in some cases!).

A synchronised email account means that no matter which device you use everything is the same, the inbox and the outbox are identical so you can see what you have read and sent before. It is trickier to setup, and you have to do so on multiple devices but it is a must for people that use more than one device and receive a lot of emails.

The appearance of an email is important, emails are the main point of contact with your customers so they need to look professional.

We can design and install stationary that will allow you send formatted emails to all your clients no matter what email facility they are using.

Email compatibility is miles behind internet browser compatibility because there are many more vendors, whereas there are only really two browsers; Internet Explorer and Firefox (which we strongly recommend), there are thousands of different email clients; outlook, hotmail, gmail and yahoo to name a few, all which bizarrely are not consistent in there compatibility, but it does not stop us as we are true geeks!
