The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)

The DDA states that it is unlawful to discriminate against people in respect of their disabilities in relation to employment, the provision of goods and services, education and transport. In 1999 it was amended to include its position on websites, which is that websites made available to the public should be equally accessible.
